JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST, THOUGHT OF THE DAY: HALLOWEEN

From John Collins Ministries: “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.” 1 Corinthians 10:21 (NKJV). “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said, ‘I will dwell in them and walk among them, I will be their God, and they shall be My people.’ Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you and you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.’” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (NKJV). Halloween is paganism. God has spent a lot of time and effort and has sent many a prophet, messenger a

THOUGHT OF THE DAY, PASTOR JOHN COLLINS: BAD DAY

Your two year old child plays with the key fob to your car and triggers the alarm system so that you can’t get the doors open.   When you do find someone to fiddle with the locks and get it open, you find that the engine won’t start because the alarm system is still enabled.   You are now late for work.   You go to use your cell phone call a tow truck and your employer to find that the cell towers are not working today where you live.   The next day, you discover that the water company has shut off the water main for an emergency pipe break and it is uncertain how long it will take.   Someone totals your husband’s car.   It seems like the bad just keeps going on and on.     You can choose to wallow in self-pity and tell your story to all your friends, post it on Facebook, or you can choose to give to Jesus in prayer, draw a line in the sand right then, and start fresh   in your heart.   Bad day “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST, THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: GOD=LOVE AND WRATH

From John Collins Ministries:  "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 (NKJV). It is time for a serious  reality check  for every single  person  living on earth at this time: You are going to die an earthly  death  and will have to face the righteous judgment of  God . You may think you know what that means, you may not care but let me fill in the blanks for so many….whether you choose to believe in  God  or not, whether you find  God  fair or not, whether you agree with  God  or not, whether you end up dismissing  God  or not, whether you reject  God  or not and whether you end up getting as angry at  God  as you want and as defiant toward  God  as you want and you can ignore Him, disobey Him and reject His Son but in the end, ALL will come before the judgment seat of  Chris t and ALL will face the righteous judgment

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: CHOOSING HELL

Image
JOHN COLLINS MINISTRIES:  THE TRUTH HURTS Teaching our children to know about Jesus and GOD begins at home.   No school can do it for us.   Satan has woven his lies to keep children from knowing that Jesus is there to help them, to care for them, and to protect them.   A few generations back, GOD was taken out of school because He was an offense to someone, and Christians stood by and allowed it.   In addition,   because those generations didn’t like hearing the truth, the fact of hell and its consequences was removed. (Pastor John Collins, 2018). “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.” Matthew 10:34-37 (NKJ

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: BITTERNESS

Image
From John Collins Ministries: “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.” Hebrews 12:14-15 (NKJV). Bitterness  is something that we must be on guard against and we must have complete honesty with ourselves if we are to monitor our hearts so that we can repent if we find ourselves gone astray.  Bitterness  will creep up on you and it is easy to allow to happen. We like to think of ourselves as deserving the best and we become very offended when others hurt us, reject us and when we perceive that we have not received our ‘due’. We must be careful to find the  balance  of self-worth and humility. Sometimes people just don’t think things through with  faith . Do you deserve health, happiness, wealth, love, respect, honor, recognition or to walk through this life without hurt?
