PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST, THOUGHT OF THE DAY: ABOUT RAPTURE AND END TIMES PREDICTIONS

From John Collins Ministries: "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.  Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.  And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  But he who endures to the end shall be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."  Matthew 24:10-14 (NKJV). "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."  Mark 13:32 (NKJV). Many are saying that we are nearing the end of times, that Jesus will return soon, that the rapture is near and tribulation is upon us.  Jesus said that only the Father knows the time so it is impossible for anyone to know when the end will come.  Yet with so many preachers teaching this and so many eyes open to the happenings in the Middle East and so much attention being dr...

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, EVANGELIST, THOUGHT OF THE DAY: CHRISTMAS STRUGGLE

Image
From John Collins Ministries: “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” Matthew 6:24-25 (NKJV). Christmas shopping season is here and before you run out and break the bank, overload the credit cards and spend hard earned cash that you should not, please rethink this holiday season!! One of the hardest lessons to learn in life is restraint. When to restrain yourself from acting, from speaking and from reacting in a manner that is expected from you. Just because the world, especially the United States has come to drive buying in excess to please our loved ones in some kind of celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ for some and just an excuse to ...

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS, THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: DITCHING JESUS

Evangelist John Collins:  Don't lose your salvation. Jesus answered them and said, ‘My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.” John 7:16-17 (NKJV). Christianity is going through a crisis of immense proportions. People have been waking up to the truth of the history of the church, to the paganism within the church and to the abuse of grace that has produced so much disobedience to God. Jesus was very clear in stating that you must obey the Father and not just believe, for it is those who love Him that are obedient. That being said, there are Christians everywhere who are taking their wake up call that was from God and jumping ship all together. There are Christians who have desired to start at the beginning, get to know the Torah and study the word of God to know what sin is, what obedience consists of, and what is promised in the prophecies. ...

PASTOR JOHN COLLINS THOUGHT OF THE DAY: BEING CHRISTIAN OR BECOMING CHRISTIAN?

Image
PASTOR JOHN COLLINS: How to become Christian There is a difference between becoming A Christian and becoming Christian.   Pastor John Collins tells us the first step is to speak it with our mouth and believe it in your heart, which is what Paul the Gentile's apostle wrote in Romans.   That's becoming A Christian, but the journey only begins there.   How we become Christian doesn't happen overnight. What does it mean when we choose to accept the salvation of Jesus Christ , seek sincere forgiveness , and become Christian ?   What do we need to do become good Christians ?   Simply saying that we believe in God , that we believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is not enough.   There is work to be done, preaches Pastor John Collins of Love That Cross Ministries .   Asking Jesus to come into your life is the first step.   From that point onward, our journey is lifelong.   Paul turned his life around in an instant, and ye...
